WELCOME

to our little bit of the world. We're parents, teachers, grandparents, and neighbors who work together in a Parent Teacher Organization we call PIE ... Partners in Education. We volunteer to help in fundraising to benefit the education of our kids, and help the teachers and schools buy the supplies they need. We also help in making sure the kids have the funnest year we can possibly provide... through fundraising, celebrations, school functions and the generosity of our business community and school families. For everything you do... THANK YOU !

WHAT IS PIE ~~ besides something yummy to eat?

This week, we are sending out our "Welcome Back" flyer to parents. It's a great way to learn just SOME of the ways that Partners In Education (PIE) helps our kids at Highlandville Elementary ... such as ~

We collect the following labels which help to raise funds for the benefit of teacher supplies and student needs ~~

  • CAMPBELL SOUP LABELS
  • TYSON CHICKEN LABELS
  • BEST CHOICE LABELS
So look for your WELCOME BACK information sheet... and fill out the information on the back of the page... each student returning the form will be in for a special treat!

WELCOME to the new PIE year ... 2009

We are Highlandville PIE ... Partners In Education. PIE is a parent teacher organization that is run by volunteers who together are focused on ONE goal ... to make Highlandville Elementary School the BEST place for OUR child's education, and help them to have fun while doing it !

We have no dues, all are welcome, and EVERYONE is a member. It's a great way to be involved in our children's education and help with classroom and school needs not covered in current school budget.

So come on and join us for a big ole slice of PIE ... you and your kids will be glad you did!

take it to Miss Carol in the school office, and we'll deliver you a candy bar if you are one of the first 15 kids to notice this! GOOD LUCK!
